It is so hard to celebrate
With you so far away
To show how much we love you
On this special day

There's been a few dozen birthdays
Over these past few years
But we hope they keep getting sweeter
And be void of any tears (unless they are happy tears)

So on this day be merry
And take some time for you
Know there is much love coming from the south
