It is a gorgeous morning today, 38 degrees...with promise of warming up to 54 today...sunny outside with a light breeze...what could be nicer? I can't remember the last time that I was able just to wake up and hang out at my house with no agenda, kind of like Daniel said yesterday, it's a breath of fresh air.
So pictured you see a non-artistic picture of my kitchen...and where I am typing from this morning...after eating my bagel with strawberry cream cheese. HMMM.
I am still trekking through 2 Chronicles and I have reached the part that shares about the different kings and if they followed God or not. There was one thing that was consistent with each: follow God, he watches over--abandon him, and your life is not so blessed. Very Very sobering. It's obvious, when I'm obeying the Lord, even when things are hard or bad...I know that it's going to be okay...but when I choose to try and control my own life--things end up bad...and I am lost in despair. Just some thoughts, remember, I am no theologian.
