The Beautiful Mess (soon to be released)
I am using all of these to keep in touch with my friends...to see how they are doing....to share life and pictures and more. I may not be able to see them in person...but I am able to stay connected through these mediums. It takes a lot of time to keep up...just to say hi. I'm definitely interested. BUT--the crazy thing is....How much trouble do I actually go to to spend time with God.

There are very easily accessable mediums to keeping in contact with the Lord, but how much time out of our day do we take to spend it with him? I am guilty of spending more time in all of the other mediums to keep in contact with family, friends and passersby than I am of longing to spend time with the savior who has met all of my needs, who saved me from an eternity in hell and more. Wow. It just hit me.

I have to say WOW too. I was actually thinking about this same topic today as I was driving to work...realizing how brief my prayer time is. I am apart of a small Bible Study and we are currently reading/discussing a book related to this topic called "How to Develop a Powerful Prayer Life" by Dr. Gregory Frizzell...if you have not read it you should check it out. It has really stepped on my toes but also opened my heart and mind to the meaning of prayer and how important prayer is...
