So we found out today that the IRS received a complete payment of the tax lien from our title company, so we will be signing our papers for selling the house first thing in the morning! Part 2 is in the books! Amazingly, we've had a pleasant experience with the IRS (it's probably because we weren't the ones who were indebted!) and they have moved intentionally and quickly.
We have had the best realtor ever during this whole ordeal. He has helped us while we've been out of the state and has been our eyes, ears, and legs every step of the way. If any of you live in Michigan....he's the man for the job if you are buying/selling a house. We couldn't have been more pleased. Ask for more info.
God is good and continues to work thru our difficulty.
On another note.....Candice baked 48 cupcakes tonight and I pulled grass-looking weeds out of our lawn. We live a great life!
