Memorial Day...

...Daniel and I are a little behind in posting pictures...but here are just a couple of snapshots from our Memorial Day of the sweet Miss Arden.. We had a great time hanging out with our friends, the Lyles. Pool, watermelon and a cookout= A classic and wonderful Memorial Day.

...let me start by saying...this weekend with the fam was great. We celebrated my dad's 54th birthday...it was his golden birthday! More to come on that later...

...back to Kristy and John. He slowly walked her up the beautiful St. Simon's Island Lighthouse. It was getting dark outside and the ring was burning a hole into his pocket. She had an inkling that it was coming...and her heart beat with excitement. He got down on one knee at the top of the lighthouse and asked Kristy to be forever his....

...they had one set of engagement pictures in November...but had to have another set at St. Simon's Island...because of the memories they had to have captured there. Below are a few of our favorites. Click here to see more.

A Special, Special Sunday

My last Sunday at the Providence Campus was this past Sunday. It couldn’t have gone smoother! I was so proud of our communion volunteers that served almost 4000 people so smoothly. Thank you volunteers for committing to do all the services. I will be starting at the Butler campus this Sunday. What an honor. I love that both Daniel and me will have the unique opportunity to get to know such a wide variety of people at Elevation. God has truly ordered our steps.
Speaking of Sunday, we had the wonderful privilege of Cliff Barrows speaking with Pastor Furtick on Sunday. I cried and cried as he prayed over Pastor and Elevation, and as he quoted scripture and as he humbly received kind words. What an amazing man of God….and to top things off, he sang during our communion, ‘Just As I Am.’

ACC Fanfest

Yes. My Tigers beat Duke today. Can I get an 'oh'yeah'yer! Congrats!

Today Daniel and I went with friends Jason & Erin from our small group to the ACC FanFest. It was great times...we got our face painted, free stuff, and former ACC players (that are now legends) in pictures and autographs. We got to bungee swing and more. It was a great time. Tomorrow we are headed out to the ACC Fanfest in Uptown...should be fun! I'm a huge fan of the ACC...and I love my TIGERS!

In other news, I am just uploading our unedited and raw pictures from our Taiwan and Hong Trip in September of '07. So sad, I know...I had such great intentions of editing them. Oh well...the memories have been captured...enjoy. (p.s. You'll notice our poor jet-lagged faces in these pictures. Priceless).

Home Renovation.

Thanks to the generosity of our friends and family...for our wedding, Daniel & I have been able to lots of home renovation projects. It's been awesome! Here are a few of the things we've done just in the past week.
Intstalled two fans and two lights
Painted Accent Walls
Bought & Painted a futon
Put together a grill..and cooked on it...
Put up a collage of frames...

...and there are still several home renovation projects to go...We feel so blessed to have had the ability to do what we were able to do...

period. I love this man...and as March 24 draws closer...I am convinced that God's plans are good--and his grace. Oh...his grace. Thank you God for Daniel. The pix I promised from my visit 2 weekends ago are here.

So ummm. American Idol nights have begun once again. YAY! I so look forward to the quality time with some chicas...making a meal...and just putting our wonderful 2 cents worth about the show. Aww. Today is that day...
